I have been fishing for close to 40 years now and although the seed had been sown much earlier in my life it wasn’t really until the 90’s that my passion for foreign trips in search of different species of sportfish really took hold. I had trips to Canada, France, Belgium, Germany, Austria and several more countries in search of specimen fish of many different species.

During this time I purchased many different rods and reels, all specific to a particular species or type of fishing, however I continually found it a struggle to find the tackle that I wanted at the right price and quality.

In October 2009 after a trip to Spain in search of Catfish I finally decided that there was no point in waiting any longer for someone else to come up with the goods. It was time to do something about it myself! Yoursup Specialist Fishing Equipment was born.

The sole purpose of this website is to provide fellow Catfish anglers with quality equipment which will make their time on the bank more enjoyable. It does not set out to be cheaper than the others… just better!

I have put up a few Catfish bits just to get things started but I really want you, my customers and fellow anglers to send in your stories, photos and interesting links. You can write an article about anything to do with fishing, just send it to me with any relevant photos attached and I will put it onto the site.
